Mike Gaydeski

Mike "Mgay" Gaydeski joined The Elite in July 2003 with a batch of GoldenEye times that were completely and utterly awful. Over the next few years, he climbed the ranks slowly, peaking somewhere in the upper 30s in 2006. He has achieved a total of 10 World Records in his career, only 1 of which remains. He also played Perfect Dark, achieving a few notable times, such as Rescue SA 2:22. He also became one of the few people to complete all 21 levels on License to Kill. He has also competed in Mario Kart 64.

At the peak of his activity, Mike was an important member of The Elite. He updated the Perfect Dark License to Kill rankings (of which he was the only active member). He also contributed greatly to the 2006 Summer Contest, where he was chosen as a member of the Selection Committee, wrote a large number of bios, and ran the contest while Ngamer was on vacation.

Since his return in June 2009, Mike has achieved a small number of PRs in GoldenEye and Perfect Dark, made frequent appearances on The DK and Comet Show, attended the 2009 and 2010 Virginia meets, and has remained active in chat (except when school or work are eating his free time, which is frequently).

Despite his ostensibly perpetual lack of activity, Mike retains a cult following within The Elite. He is perhaps best known for his sense of humor, ability to create romantic piano atmospheres, insane trumpet skills, and atrocious luck in Mario Kart tournaments.

GoldenEye

• Achieved 10 WRs between 2003 and 2006
• Achieved Streets 00A 1:56 (those who were around at the time know just how big of an achievement that was)
• Has not touched Egypt since 2003

Perfect Dark

• Achieved the 4 easy WRs (Duel 3, 6, and 9, Defection 6)
• One of 4 people to complete all 21 levels on LTK
• One of 4 people to play Perfect Dark since 2007

Mario Kart 64

• Ranked Elite F or something
• Has a terrible PR on Moo Moo Farm
• Has the WORST LUCK EVER on 4-player mode

The Elite in general

• Became the second person to achieve a world record at a Virginia Meet (it was Duel 9, but still)
• Won the Official 2009 Virginia Meet Poker World Championship Grand Prix Turbo Deluxe
• Achieved a new level of masochism by staying awake for 48 hours and drinking 19 cans of Coca-Cola in a No Sleepathon (good gravy, that was a bad idea)
• Popularized the word "YES" and the number "1"
