Doom is a First Person Shooter released in December of 1993 by id Software for the PC. The series continued with Doom II and Doom 3.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Doom competition. Combined, the current proven World Records for each level of Doom on Ultra Violence comes out to 21 minutes and 25 seconds. The records were set by a variety of runners, starting in 1998 and continuing to the present day. Players also compete for the best full episode runs, on Nightmare skill.
