It has been noted that Dan has an obvious obsession with [[Simon Pegg]], and has actually mailed a letter to him. He hopes to meet him someday, and really get to know him. He is a huge fan of both of his movies, [[Shaun of the Dead]] and [[Hot Fuzz]], and was recently allowed by his parents to see Hot Fuzz in theaters. Dan was amazed when this happened, because they have ''never'' let him see an 'R-rated' movie before. However, he was also very pleased.
