Super Mario Kart

Super Mario Kart is the first video game in the Mario Kart series, released in September of 1992 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The popular series continued with Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Mario Kart DS, and Mario Kart Wii.

The Super Mario Kart World Records Site is the leading time trial competition site for this game. The current world champions are Karel van Duijvenboden for NTSC and Pierre L'Hoest for PAL.
