There are 8 different controller configurations available in GoldenEye 007.
Overview
1.1 is the default control style. 1.2 has been the control style most commonly used by competitive speed runners. A 2.x control style is advantageous on certain levels to build run speed during the opening cinemas. Cruise Control is commonly used for control styles that use the analog stick to move Bond.
Facts
When using 2.x control style, some actions are possible on the second controller during opening and closing cinemas. This includes cycling through weapons and building run speed.
Time saved due to building run speed is approximately 0.39 seconds. [1]
