The record was stuck for quite a while at about 8.40. To get much less than this, leave just after the stick has passed vertical, and then head downwards. If you wait too long you will clip the first spings. Which is bad. The place where you save the most time is in the straight part. If you get into this fast enough you can press the stick around more by using the bottom set of springs. Then head around the bottom part of the goal.
