Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble is a Platformer released in November of 1996 by Rare for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The series began with Donkey Kong Country and continued with Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Donkey Kong Country 3 competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game, 105% DKC3 speedrun on Hard mode is 1 hour and 51 minutes, achieved by David "marshamallow" Gibbons on June 8th, 2004. The game also included a timed mini-game called Riverside Race, which was beaten in a record 54.70 seconds by Brad "Cyberwrath" Cutler on June 18th, 2004.
