Serious Sam: The Second Encounter is an FPS released in February of 2002 by Croteam for the PC. The series continued with Serious Sam II.
Speed Runs
The Speed Demos Archive hosts Serious Sam: SE competition. The current proven World Record for a complete-game SS:SE speedrun on Serious skill is 1 hour, 3 minutes and 31 seconds, achieved by Drew "stx-Vile" DeVore in July of 2005.
