Final Egg
Final Egg is an action stage in Sonic Adventure. It's Sonic's 10th stage, Amy's 3rd, and E-102's 1st.
Speed Tips
Sonic
Because of the ability to use Free Camera, and the removal of a wall behind the start of section 2 of this stage, GameCube players originally had an uncalculated advantage in this stage. Eventually, though, this would be reversed, as the floating capsule in the middle of nowhere that appears only on Dreamcast has finally been reached, meaning this level now favors Dreamcast by almost 50 seconds.
Dreamcast: Start by spindashing forward, jumping over the lasers and around the spikes. Keep spindashing until you get to the small pit. Get on the small slanted section of floor at the other end of the pit, and charge a light dash.
Note that there are 2 spindash buttons, B and X. Keep holding one, then use the other to charge a regular spindash. Shortly after pressing the button, release both B and X, then immediately press B, X, and A. If done right, this keeps the light dash charged, releases the spindash, and jumps right after releasing it to get big air because of the upslope. Hold A to maximize your height, and you might pop up through the ceiling. If you do, hold left and release A, press A again to homing-attack left, and then release the light attack.
There's a capsule floating around behind the left wall. You want to have your light attack shoot you onto the capsule. Occasionally you might press the button but immediately fall off the capsule, which is credited as a kill instead of a completion, or you might get stuck inside the capsule and be unable to press the button. Sometimes you'll get lucky, and not only find the capsule's location, but remain on it after pressing the button, which skips sections 2 and 3 entirely and ends the level in victory.
