Nicola Torre

Nicola Torre is an Italian Mario Kart player.

About Nicola

He joined the Player's Page in 2005, when he started playing Mario Kart DS. He managed to claim a WR on Baby Park fast lap in March 2006; after that, he managed to climb up to the Top 20, joining the Top 10 a few times. Since 2007, he has been playing sporadically, but he has never really retired; in fact, Nicola is still in the Top 15. In 2010, he got back the Baby Park WR he set four years before, taking it from Fabio Sacco, as he did in 2006; this is his second WR. He doesn't, and can't, play MKDS anymore, since his DS broke; he doesn't want to use his other DS, a Lite version, considering it to be too weak and easy to break.

Nicola has also played competitively other Mario Karts; he reached Top 100 in Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64, and he has full timesheets on Mario Kart Super Circuit, Mario Kart Double Dash!! and Mario Kart Wii. He is currently ranked 15th on the Combined charts.

Other than karting, he is also a well-known poster on the Message Board, and he often visits IRC chan #mariokart.

• He was one of the youngest MK players ever to get a WR (when he got his first MKDS WR, he was 11).
• His favourite hobbies include walking, taking photographs, reading and playing videogames.
• Even though he doesn't really like Mario Kart Wii, he loves playing it with other Italian karters, since he considers MKW to be an awesome and incredibly funny game when you forget trying to win.
