You should time leaving the start area so that you are hitting the set of springs as the stick is almost completely vertical. From there it is possible to go around the bend and to the finish without slowing down. If you have to pause before entering the bend then you probably won't be able to get under 3 seconds.

Another very difficult method to pull off. If you get the timing perfect it is possible to move all the way from the start to the finish without slowing down and without using the springs. At first it doesn't look possible, and to make it through you have to be almost pixel perfect.
