'''Randy "Discombobulator" Buikema''' was the first person in [[Elite]] history to become Dual Champion, i.e. ranked first in both [[GoldenEye 007|Goldeneye]] and [[Perfect Dark]].  His Perfect Dark championship was achieved via a slow and steady rise, while his Goldeneye championship was reached through an incredible race to the top.  Eventually, he was dethroned in both games by the former champions ([[Wouter Jansen]] in GE, [[Ben Gorman|Paragon]] in PD), and retired soon after.  However, he returned to the top of the PD ranks in the summer of 2002 after a large unwhoard. Since then Randy has devoted himself to Counter-Strike, becoming one of the best players around. In early 2007 Randy began a Goldeneye comeback that has already resulted in several World Records, with others sure to come.

Randy's first spell at the top of the PD leaderboards began on March 14, 2001 and lasted 22 days before [[Paragon]] returned from a month-long PD break to overtake him. Following the Illinois meet in 2002 Randy unwhoarded a massive amount of times, rocketing him back to the number one spot on July 18. It was agreed to make whoarding illegal from that point on. This time his reign was to last a little longer though and it wasnt until 122 days later on November 10 that [[Karl]] ended his run at the top.

 

Nowadays Randy is mainly found playing CS 1.6 in CAL-IM with fellow Elite members [[Marsh]], [[Cyberwrath]] and [[PDO]]. However in early 2007 he made a small Goldeneye comeback that resulted in several World Records.
