'''April Thompson''' (aka '''Miss April''') is a girl. A girl who plays [[mariokart64.com|Mario Kart]].  In fact, she's the Women's World Champion at NTSC [[SMK]].  In other words, she's totally awesome.

 

'''April Thompson''' (aka '''Miss April''', '''intricalangel''', and most recently as '''Spril''') is a 20 year old college student, with a passion for languages and Mario Kart. She's currently an education major, but when she transfers to four-year school next year, she intends to major in French, and minor in Spanish and perhaps German. She's currently working as a Garden Shop associate at her local Kmart store on the weekend, where on more than one occasion, she's preached the wonders of Mario Kart to her fellow associates and customers.

 

She's also a writer, and has been working on a memoir since 2001. Hopefully one day she'll publish it.

 

 

Although April wasn't the first female to join the [http://www.mariokart64.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl Mario Kart message board], she was the first female to hit 1000 posts, and the first truly active female on the MB.

 

She's also active in the #mariokart IRC chat and has been since June 2006. She became a regular op in September 2006 (under the name intricalangel), and has been ever since. Along with her fellow regular ops, she keeps the IRC chat sane...for the most part.
