The [[Speed Demos Archive]] hosts Max Payne competition.  The current proven [[World Record]] Speedrun for Max Payne on New York Minute Mode, is 25 minutes and 34 seconds, achieved in 63 segments by Nigel "[[Nigel Martin|ridd3r]]" Martin in summer-2010. Additionally, there is a single-segment record on dead on arrival (hardest difficulty) by the same player, completed in March 2010.
