The battles were fantastic, Leyla had an early match vs Lindsay Molenaar of the Netherlands, advancing to the later rounds. [[Vincent van der Fluit]] defeated the remainder of strong UK players including John Barber, placing Leyla and Vincent in the final. After some epic races Leyla won the cup, establishing her place in the Super Mario Kart Multiplayer ranks. The races were recorded and can be seen on youtube. Shortly after this Tournament she took a break from SMK, and played some Mario Kart DS on the side for fun plus some PC games.
