A '''warp''' is a strategy used ubiquitously in Goldeneye 007. On slow opening doors or ladders, one can switch guns or shoot; which generates lag, while the door is partially open or while at the base of the latter . This lag, when produced correctly, can cause the speedrunner to pass through the door before it is fully opened, or up the ladder, thus "warping" to a further location in the level. This technique is used in the [[world record]] strategy for [[Dam]], [[Facility]], [[Surface 1]], [[Bunker 1]], [[Silo]], [[Surface 2]], [[Bunker 2]], [[Jungle]], [[Control]] and [[Caverns]].
