He first got introduced to TAS and speedrunning in the early 2010's by RealMyop and Coeurdevandale in their show "#88mph" (later re-named "Speed Game").

Joris discovered [[The Elite]] in August 2017 after watching [[RWhiteGoose]]'s Speedlore episode 2 : Depot Agent, and he was quickly fascinated by [[The Elite]] and the ranking system that they used.

After watching [[2015: A GoldenEye Odyssey]] a movie made by [[Jonathan Hotinski]] and [[Daniel Coelho]], Joris decided to join [[The Elite]] and started speedruning Goldeneye.
