Williams main claim-to-fame was being the first player to reach the vaunted God rank in MK64. He also set a DK 3lap [[WR]] that was extremely fast for its time, more than 1.5 seconds ahead of 2nd place.  He promptly typed up a detailed strategy and later released a video. His other claim-to-fame was his MK64 strategy pages, that described his preferred routes for the non-shortcut races. The strategies were littered with wit and humour, and were an interesting read even for those who could not benefit from their tactics. Unfortunately, William never managed to be world champion, despite being ranked at the very top for years.  He was ranked 2nd behind [[Sami Cetin]] for some time, and while he eventually overcame Sami, it was not until after [[Michael Jongerius]] had taken the top spot.
