The [[Speed Demos Archive]] hosts the two fastest speedrun for ''Super C''.  There are two types of speedrun for ''Super C''.  The first type aims to achieve the fastest time possible; this is often referred to as an any-percent speedrun.  The second type aims to achieve the fastest time possible but without obtaining any items; this is often referred to as a low-percent speedrun.  In a low-percent run, the player starts with the default gun (the default gun is sometimes referred to as the pea shooter) and uses only the default gun for the entire duration of the run.
