Just curious, but isn't glitch abuse obvious cheating? As is sequence breaking. IMHO. Where is the pride of speedrunning without breaking the rules in any way? Why, in order to be considered good, must one cheat in these ways? Glitch abuse and sequence-breaking are not cheating because they don't violate rules. You can create whatever sort of competition you want, with whatever rules you want, and then compete in it. It's not cheating unless you lie about it. There's no such thing as natural rules built into the game, unless you count intended game behavior as a rule, but in the world of competitive gaming, that's not usually what people mean by "rule", and certainly not the type of rule that has any relevance to cheating.
